Les résultats seront également disponibles sur le page des résultats sur le site de la C3N (Coordination des responsables des instances). Seuls les résultats publiés par le CNRS font foi juridiquement.

À l’exception des personnes ayant reçu une autorisation du Service Central des Concours pour être auditionnées en visioconférence, les auditions auront lieu en présentiel (se référer au guide des candidats).

Pour rappel, les auditions auront lieu au GANIL (Caen) du 25 au 30 mars 2024. Les auditions de ce concours dureront 45 minutes (20 minutes d’exposé et 25 minutes d’entretien).

Pour les personnes passant l’audition en distanciel, le lien Zoom leur sera communiqué dans les convocations.

The following candidates have been admitted to continue to the auditions following the jury’s selection of candidates for CRCN competition N°01/02.

The results will be also available on the results page of the C3N website (Coordination des responsables des instances). Only results published by CNRS are legally binding.

With the exception of applicants who have received authorization from the Service Central des Concours to be auditioned by videoconference, auditions will take place in person (please refer to the applicants’ guide).

As a reminder, auditions will take place at GANIL (Caen) from March 25 to 30, 2024. Auditions for this competition will last 45 minutes (a 20-minute presentation and 25-minute interview).

For the applicants who have received authorization for the remote audition, the Zoom link will be provided in the convocation.

La section 01 du Comité national siégera en jury d’admissibilité pour les concours 2024 numéro 01/01 et 01/02 publiés au Journal officiel en date du 9 janvier 2024 et sur le site des concours du CNRS : 01/01 et 01/02. Le guide du candidat est également publié sur le site du concours.

La section rappelle que sa méthodologie et ses critères sont disponibles ici (français) et ici (anglais).

Concernant le concours 01/02 (CRCN), la section encourage vivement toute candidature dont le profil relève de ses thématiques. Parmi les huit postes ouverts au concours, sept sont « coloriés » thématiquement et géographiquement. Pour ces postes, la section rappelle que le « coloriage » est seulement une indication de priorité scientifique mais que cela n’exclut pas les candidatures de personnes présentant un projet sur une thématique différente et dans un autre laboratoire de l’institut. Dès lors, un projet de recherche personnel, qu’il soit accompagné, ou non, d’un ou plusieurs projets correspondant aux éventuelles indications thématiques du poste, sera favorablement considéré par le jury.

Le jury évaluera l’excellence scientifique des personnes candidates à partir de l’activité de recherche et des travaux scientifiques effectués pendant la thèse et les éventuels séjours postdoctoraux, en veillant à identifier les apports personnels dans les résultats présentés. Le deuxième élément d’évaluation sera le (ou les) projet(s) de recherche.

Concernant le concours de directeur de recherche de 2ème classe (DR2), la section souligne que le CNRS a ouvert au concours une quinzaine de postes supplémentaires, toutes thématiques confondues, pour des candidats et candidates externes : dès lors, la section encourage vivement toute personne dont le profil relève de ses thématiques à postuler au concours 01/01.

Pour les lettres de recommandation, les candidats sont invités à consulter la procédure pour les avis de personnalités scientifiques, décrite dans le guide du candidat. Celui-ci mentionne que le programme de recherche proposé peut être accompagné d’une lettre de soutien du directeur (ou de la directrice) du laboratoire concerné, mais cela n’est pas obligatoire et son absence n’hypothéquera pas les chances des candidats.

Pour le concours 01/02, les auditions se tiendront du 25 au 30 mars 2024 en présentiel au GANIL (Caen-France). Cependant, nous rappelons que des aménagements d’épreuves sont possibles pour les personnes en situation de handicap dans les conditions prévues par les arrêtés d’ouverture des concours. Pour les candidates et candidats résidant à l’étranger, les candidates enceintes et les candidates et candidats dont l’état de santé le justifie, l’audition est organisée en visioconférence sur demande auprès du service central des concours.

CNRS competition 2024 : Communication from the section

Dear colleagues

Section 01 will stand as the “jury d’admissibilité” for the CNRS competition number 01/01 and 01/02, published in the Official Journal of January 9^th 2024, and on the website of the CNRS competition: 01/01 and 01/02. The candidate’s guide is also published on the website of the CNRS competition.

The methodology and selection criteria of Section 01 are available here (in french) and (in english).

Regarding the 01/02 competition (CRCN), the section strongly encourages any applicant whose profile relates to the section’s topics. Among the eight positions open to the competition, seven are thematically and geographically « coloured ». For these positions, the section points out that the “coloring” is only an indication of scientific priority, but does not exclude applications from people presenting a project on a different topic and in another laboratory of the institute. Consequently, a personal research project, whether or not accompanied by one or more projects corresponding to the possible thematic indications of the position, will be favorably considered by the jury.

The jury will assess the scientific excellence of the candidates firstly on the basis of the research activity and scientific work carried out during the thesis and any post-doctoral stays, being careful to identify the personal contribution of the candidates to the results presented. The second element of evaluation of excellence will be the research project(s).

Concerning the competition for senior scientists (DR2), the section emphasizes that the CNRS has opened up about fifteen additional positions for external candidates in all fields: therefore, the section strongly encourages any person whose profile relates to the section’s theme to apply for the 01/01 competition.

For letters of recommendation from scientific personalities, applicants are invited to consult the procedure described in the candidate’s guide. The candidate’s guide mentions that the proposed research project may be accompanied by a letter of support from the director of the laboratory. This is not mandatory and its absence does not jeopardise the candidate’s application.

For the 01/02 competition, the auditions will be held in person from March 25 to 30, 2024 at GANIL (Caen-France). However, we remind you that adaptations of auditions are possible for people in a situation of disability under the conditions provided for by the decrees opening the competitions. For candidates residing abroad, pregnant candidates and candidates whose state of health justifies it, the audition is organized in videoconference on request to the central competition service.
