The 2015 competition for CNRS research position openings is ongoing (the deadline for applications is the 6th January 2015). The openings and relevant information can be consulted at a dedicated site.
For the section 01, this competition consists of the following steps:
| 21 January 2015 | Eligibility to compete : validation of equivalences of degrees for candidates who do not fulfilled all conditions of eligibility as defined in the application guide, see here |

| 24-25 February 2015 | Meeting of the committee for the preselection of CR ("chargé de recherche") candidates for oral presentations and interviews |
| 23-28 March 2015 | Oral presentations and interviews of the preselected CR candidates in Grenoble (LPSC laboratory) |
| 7-11 April 2015 | Meeting of the committee for the selection of the admitted candidates for the CR and DR openings (short list) |
| 16 June 2015 | Meeting of a committee for the final selection CR |
| 11 June 2015 | Meeting of a committee for the final selection DR |
The evaluation letters should be sent directly by their authors to the following email cch@cnrs.fr before the 6th of January with the letter in pdf format attached to the email and by specifying in the body of the message and in the pdf title the name of the candidate and the opening(s) reference (for instance 01-01_lastname.firstname).
For your information, the number of positions, the number of applications submitted, and the number which have been validated and are preselected for oral presentation (for the case of CR) are presented below for every opening.

We draw the attention of candidates who are interested in openings at the level "Charge de Recherche 1" (CR1) to the fact that it is possible to apply to such positions only 3 times (or 4 times if the candidate has been declared eligible twice in previous campaigns, as described above). Every application submitted by the candidates will be counted as valid application, except if the candidates withdraw their application 3 days before the date of the 1st meeting of the committee for the preselection of applications. If the candidate is not selected by this jury for an oral presentation, the application will still be counted in the total number of valid applications.
