La section 01 du Comité national siègera en jury d’admissibilité pour les concours 2020 numéro 01/01 et 01/02 publiés au Journal officiel en date du 1er décembre 2019 et sur le site des concours du CNRS : 01/01 et 01/02.
La section rappelle que sa méthodologie et ses critères sont disponibles ici (français) et ici (anglais).
Concernant le concours 01/02 (CRCN), la section encourage vivement toute candidature dont le profil relève de ses thématiques. Parmi les sept postes ouverts au concours, six sont coloriés thématiquement et géographiquement. La section invite les candidats à présenter un ou plusieurs projets de recherche, qui pourront ou non couvrir une ou plusieurs des six affectations prioritaires.
Concernant le concours 01/01 (DR2), la section invite les personnes intéressées par les affectations sur la « Physique du higgs auprès du LHC » à Orsay ou la « Physique des ondes gravitationnelles » à Toulouse à détailler leurs projets et motivations dans leur dossier de candidature. La section souligne par ailleurs que le CNRS devrait recruter cette année des candidats externes (qui ne sont pas déjà CR au CNRS) en tant que DR2 ; elle examinera toutes les candidatures, qu’elles entrent ou non dans les deux affectations prioritaires.
Pour les lettres de recommandation, les candidats sont invités à consulter la procédure pour les avis de personnalités scientifiques, décrite dans le guide du candidat.
Pour la traduction assermentée des diplômes étrangers, la section informe les candidats qu'elle peut être envoyée après le 7 janvier 2020, date de clôture des candidatures.
Pour le concours 01/02, les auditions se tiendront à Paris du 9 au 14 mars. L’admissibilité sur dossier sera connue le 26 février et la section se tiendra à la disposition des candidats pour les informer au plus tôt de leur jour d’audition. Le jury d’admissibilité des deux concours aura lieu du 23 au 27 mars.
Section 01 will stand as the “jury d’admissibilité” for the CNRS competition number 01/01 and 01/02, published in the Official Journal of 1st December 2019, and on the CNRS web site: 01/01 and 01/02.

Regarding the 01/02 competition (CRCN), the section strongly encourages any applicant whose profile relates to the section's themes. Among the seven positions open to the competition, six are thematically and geographically coloured. The section invites applicants to submit one or more research projects, which may or may not cover one or more of the six priority assignments.
Regarding the 01/01 competition (DR2), the section invites those interested in the assignments "Higgs physics at the LHC" in Orsay or the "Physics of gravitational waves" in Toulouse to detail their projects and motivations in their application. The section also emphasizes that the CNRS should recruit this year a few external DR2 (who are not already CNRS): we will examine all applications, whether or not they enter these two priority assignments.
For letters of recommendation from scientific personalities, applicants are invited to consult the procedure described in the applicant's guide.
For official translations of foreign diplomas, the section informs candidates that they can be sent after the 7th January 2020, the closing date for applications.
For the 01/02 competition, the interviews will be held in Paris from March 9th to 14th. The list of candidates selected for interviews will be known on February 26th. The section will be available thereafter to inform candidates of their interview date. The “jury d’amissibilité” for both competitions will take place from the 23rd to 27th March.
